A Gathering of Friends and a Friendly Contest of Arms between the Kingdom of Northshield and the Kingdom of the Middle; a perfect warm up to the Summer War season.  Fight your friends, make new ones, make art, and learn new skills. Bring your family, bring your horse, and join us for an event full of fighting, arts, sciences, skirmishes, and the return of Helga Ball!

Planned Activities: Armored Combat, Archery, Arts & Sciences Display, Bardic Activities, Classes, Dancing, Rapier Combat, Siege Weapons, Thrown Weapons, Cut and Thrust Combat, Heraldic Consultation, Youth activities, Youth Boffer Combat.

The Crown of the Middle Kingdom will be in attendance.

Calling all cooks and bakers! We will be having a communal period oven Friday night for baking bread and The GREAT Border Skirmish cookoff Saturday morning from 9:30-12:30. The cookoff will have a “signature challenge” and a “technical challenge” over a fire. Rules will be similar to the t.v. Great British Bakeoff as you will know your recipe in advance for the “signature challenge” and will have “some” of the recipe for the technical challenge (and you will need to use your skills to fine tune the recipe). Prize will be a period earthenware skillet….More details to follow……

Site is accessible to those with ambulatory restrictions with multiple accessible bathrooms and Porta Potties.  Designated Camping areas can be accommodated, but all campsites have access to a 30 amp power hook up and water.
