Armored Combat

General Information

We will be using society rules for this event. Any other situations that may come up will be dealt with on a case by case basis. We will not be allowing Mandrake tips for spears on the field this year. All activities take place on the battlefield.

Friday

10:00 AM – Inspections, Authorizations, Pick-ups
Please bring your own authorizing partners as we will not have a lot of fighters or marshals on Friday.

Siege Class by Sir Geoffrey
This class provide instruction on armored combat engines, ammunition, safety, and how to disable a siege engine. Siege authorizations for Northshield fighters to follow the class. Midrealm fighters, please contact your kingdom marshal. Fighters will be needed to simulate a melee for the authorization. Authorizations will also be made available on Saturday.  
 
1:00 PM : Tournaments
We will have an assortment of Tournaments throughout the day.

DUSK: Annual Torchlight Tournament

Saturday

9:00 AM: List Field Open, Marshal Point Open for Inspections
10:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Authorizations
Make sure you have the correct marshal for the correct kingdom to perform the authorization, including siege weapons

11:00 AM: Battles Begin
1. Open Field Battles: Best 3 out of 5 (Fighting all 5 Battles)
2. Bridge Battle: Last Man Standing, Best 3 out of 5 wins
3. Hadrian’s Wall Battle:
Best 2 out of 3
60 Minutes each battle
Attacking force will have 2 resurrections, defenders have 0 resurrections
– Bring everything you got: archery, thrown weapons, foam rocks, foam boulders, foam anvils, foam cows, everything but the, or including the, kitchen sink, etc.

Rapier

General Rapier Information

Friday and Saturday Marshal Meetings: If you plan to marshal during the day, please come to a short meeting at the Rapier list table at 10AM. This meeting is intended to familiarize everyone with the day’s scenarios and schedule. It WILL start on time and be as brief as possible. List-keepers and waterbears are welcome to attend.
Lunch Breaks: timing may shift depending on Dragon & Griffin Tavern’s schedule
Marshals, MiTs, List-keepers: all volunteers are welcome and appreciated! Contact the RMiCs or check in at the List Table to see when and where your help may be needed.
Youth Rapier Activities: Please contact the RMiCs by May 15 if you wish to take part in Youth Rapier activities. If there is interest, we will set up field time and space.

10:00 AM – 10:30 AM: Rapier Marshal Meeting at Rapier List (see below)
10:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Morning Tourney(s) TBA.
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Lunch Break
1:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Afternoon Tourney(s) TBA
4:00 PM – 5:00 PM or as needed: re-set the field for Saturday; assistance appreciated
